Editor’s Note: A Very Happy Easter everyone!
The Duke and the Duchess of Cambridge are attending the annual Easter service at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle this morning. HM The Queen and members of the Royal Family are also in attendance. Prince Phillip has pulled out of the service due to illness. It is only the second time that the Cambridges have joined Her Majesty for Easter.
The Cambridges are spending Easter with the Middletons in Bucklebury this year. They arrived late for the Service, after Her Majesty (which is very unusual). The pair was delayed by traffic on their way to Windsor. The Duchess is currently on maternity leave awaiting the birth of her third child later this month. After her last official engagement on March 22
The Princess Royal and her husband Timothy Laurence, Prince Andrew, Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie and her fiancée Jack Brooksbank, the Earl and the Countess of Wessex, their daughter Lady Louise and son Viscount James, a very pregnant Zara Tindall, and Peter Phillips and his wife Autumn were also present for the Service in Windsor.
Her Majesty the Queen looked absolutely splendid this morning in a bright cerise coat,a floral dress and matching hat with flowers. She’s also wearing a pearl brooch from the Royal Collection.
After the service, the Cambridges left with her Majesty by car. They didn’t make the walk back to Windsor Castle and are probably going back to the Middletons in Bucklebury. It is also possibly that they are going to Windsor Castle but choose to go back by car because of the Duchess’ advanced pregnancy.
The Duchess is wearing a familiar Catherine Walker coat from 2015. We’ve also seen the hat several times before. She’s also wearing Gianvito Rossi praline ’85’ pumps, Balenciaga pearl earrings and an UFO pearl brooch. In addition to that, she’s carrying her Loeffler-Randall bag.
Seeing the size of HRH’s bump, we might not be waiting very long until the birth of the new Prince or Princess of Cambridge!
