These adorable images were taken by the Duchess of Cambridge at Kensington Palace before she and prince William dropped their daughter off for her first day at school. Princess Charlotte wore a gorgeous burgudy coat with matching shoes and hair bow.

The Princess’ older brother, Prince George, attended a different nursery school near the family’s country home Amner Hall in Norfolk. He is currently attending St. Thomas’s Battersea in London, and it was thought that his younger sister would go to the nursery that his school has, but since this nursery is so close to Kensington Palace, the Duke and Duchess choose this nursery over St. Thomas’s Battersea.

Princess Charlotte will be attending her nursery school full-time, unlike prince George, who started nursery part-time in Norfolk. The curriculum includes art, dancing and music.
